Isn’t it Ironic?
March 18, 2009
A few weeks ago I saw an SUV turning into a Wal-Mart parking lot with a bumper sticker that read “I don’t buy Chinese crap”.
Huh? Do they think the “rolled-back” pricing is thanks to low, excuse me, “cost-competitive” wages in the Midwest?
Just found this more ironic than Alanis Morissette’s unfortunate “rain on her wedding day”.

Eric is the ironic police and he will tell you if this is truly ironic.

That was pretty funny
I like it when people blog about stuff that I know about. See Beka’s blog for another example

Yeah, I was a senior English major when that song came out. And it rained on my wedding day. And I wondered if the fact that there’s actually nothing ironic in the song “Ironic” was a meta-level irony joke, or if Alanis didn’t really know what irony is. Because, “Isn’t it a bummer” would’ve been a more accurate refrain….
